James (Jim) Grieger
James Grieger is a strategic leader in the health care industry with over 45 years of global supply chain management experience. His career focus for the last 20 years has been dedicated exclusively to the healthcare industry, primarily focused on the provider-centric CSC self-distribution model.
His professional background includes developing the Integrated Service Center model for Owens & Minor, who recruited him from the global logistics industry into the healthcare industry to develop their third-party logistics business unit. Additionally, Jim served as the global strategic marketing vice president for two global third-party logistics service providers.
Jim provides the healthcare industry with leading edge logistical concepts and his extensive background in the manufacturing and distribution sector of the technology industry provides the knowledge and skills necessary to assist in effective execution of solutions. Jim previously developed and operated a distribution center network consisting of 25 distribution and manufacturing centers within the US for a prominent European manufacturer, which provides him with a deep understanding of manufacturing economics. Jim applies this combined global logistics and manufacturing empathy to the health system self-distribution model to ensure both sides contribute to and sustain a value-producing relationship.
Jim and his teams have performed more than 25 strategic assessments for health systems contemplating the CSC model. They have successfully implemented multiple CSC models, including Unity Point (Iowa Health), Shands, Orlando Health, Beaumont Health, Highmark/Allegheny Health, and Trinity Health, and transformed existing CSC’s experiencing operational and financial challenges from near failure to prosperity.

Michael (Mike) Wentling
Michael Wentling is an accomplished global supply chain, operations and solutions leader with a record of driving process improvement and leading change across organizations with the capacity to envision and execute innovative and complex strategies across an organization.
Professional experience spanning Healthcare (Manufacturers and Hospital Providers), CPG, Grocery and Industrial goods. Expertise across manufacturing, distribution, planning, project management, information services, procurement and contracting, mergers and acquisitions.
Within Healthcare, Mike has experience with Medical Devices & Diagnostics global supply chain with over 10 years at Johnson & Johnson as well as Provider/IDN experience with Mercy Health System’s ROi group. At ROi, Mike had responsibility for Distribution, Transportation, Manufacturing, Contracting and Innovation Programs.
At XPO Logistics, Mike led the Healthcare Vertical including the successful startup and operation of a large hospital system’s Consolidated Service Center and multiple DC’s for Medical Device and Equipment Manufacturers as well as responsibility in other industry verticals.
Prior to these experiences Mike worked for Honeywell International, Black & Decker and the Quaker Oats Company in multiple Supply Chain Operations roles.
